The assessment

What does the assessment actually measure?: Six visible skin attributes from a single photograph: hydration, texture, pores, redness, pigmentation and firmness. Each is expressed as a value from 0 to 100 with a reference band, and each is explained alongside what it does not tell you.
Why is a phone required?: The reading depends on framing and lighting being consistent, and a phone held at arm's length is the only camera most people can reproduce. Desktop shows a handoff screen rather than producing a reading that cannot be compared later.
Why is there no overall skin score?: Averaging six unrelated attributes produces one number that hides all of them. A hydration reading of 48 is actionable; a score of 72 out of 100 is not.
How often should I reassess?: Every 8 to 12 weeks. Surface turnover and barrier repair take that long to show up in a reading, so a shorter interval mostly measures the day you took the photo.

What happens to my photo?: It is used to produce the six readings and is not retained afterwards. No biometric template is kept, and nothing stored could reconstruct a face.
Do I need an account?: No. The assessment and the report work without one. An account only exists so a later assessment can be compared against an earlier one.
Can I delete my data?: Yes, from Data and privacy in the account. Deletion covers the readings, the routine, the consent record and the email address, and it is confirmed by typing DELETE.

How are products matched?: A reading below its reference band points to a goal, and the goal decides which category of step belongs in the routine. Every matched item names the reading that produced it. If it cannot, it is not shown as a match.
Do I have to take the assessment to buy?: No. The full catalogue is browsable by goal, with filters for type, texture and price.
